In this edition, our operations director Teun van Genugten shares some insights about his team. The next issue will be dedicated to our commercial team.
The operational team has 40 members of staff in total and consists of five departments: production, logistics, office staff, controlling and purchasing.
As operational director, I work together with my team to ensure both our products and our services meet the highest possible standards. It is my job to create the preconditions for achieving our goals. This includes things such as initiating investment projects and the development of (master) plans.
Our (family) business offers plenty of room for personal development and gives people the freedom to learn. Like its people, Euro Pizza Products itself is also experiencing a huge learning curve. The completion of the new plant is a key part of this.
In recent years, we have been using particular tools and optimisation techniques to shift our business from a reactive approach to a proactive approach.
I am incredibly proud to see that all our colleagues are truly committed to the work that is being done.
Over the past five years, we have experienced significant growth in all areas, both in wholesale and production. We continue to invest, so we can keep delivering a high-quality product and flexibly respond to the needs and wishes of our customers. Our goal and that of our team is to be the leading dough specialist.
