Besides sharing a passion for their work and for pizza, our employees are prepared to go the extra mile for you and really make a difference. For this edition of the newsletter we interviewed our Customer Service Manager, Bas Panis.
My aim as the Customer Service Manager is, together with my team, to support our customers and contacts day and night. That is why we make sure that we are always available, listen properly to what is going on around us and can always find a solution to the issues that come our way.
If the customer feels they have been taken seriously and ends the telephone chat or e-mail correspondence feeling satisfied, then we have done our job!
Whereas before CS was seen as annoying and irritating, it has become one of the most important aspects of a company in 2018. In my view, you can massively stand out from the competition as a company in this respect. When a customer gets in touch, it is also the moment that the customer can become connected to the organisation.
Different pieces of research indicate that service rather than the price of the product has become the most important criterion for the customer choosing a certain supplier. Other criteria include:
• Keeping commitments
• Timely deliveries
• Ability to find solutions
• Collaborating and helping
• Wanting to go the extra mile for the customer.
Different characters work in the CS team at Euro Pizza Products, which ensures there is a perfect mix between the diversity of employees. Each day is unique and we are in touch with a range of companies and deal with new issues. The variety, the growth of the business and the DNA of the company make it a great place to work for both me and my team.
Our growth in the last few years has been at a considerable pace, which means our dough balls will be a phenomenon worldwide. An essential part of this growth is that the CS department make rapid progress and move mountains. For example, alongside our existing channels, we will speak to the customer via WhatsApp or via a live chat function on our website.
